Tom Fleming - A Life in Letters, a calligraphy exhibition at Berwick Museum and Art Gallery.
At 92 years of age, Tom Fleming is one of the North East's leading calligraphers. With a portfolio of works from the mid-1930s to 2010, this exhibition celebrates his lifes work as a letterer and calligrapher.
Tom Fleming has also played a major part in promoting both the practice and understanding of calligraphy through his teaching and the Society of Northumbrian Scribes, of which he was a founding member, former chairman and president.
Calligraphy is a continuing tradition in the North East - with it's roots in the work of the monks of Lindisfarne - The Lindisfarne Gospels.
The exhibition runs until the 30th September as part of the 'Lindisfarne Gospels 2013' programme of events.
