Berwick Visual Arts operates two galleries in town, The Granary Gallery on the second floor of the YHA in Dewar’s Lane and The Gymnasium Gallery next to the Berwick Barracks on the Parade.
The Young People’s Art Group is an opportunity for young people between the ages of 16-24 years old to get involved and find out more about artists, exhibitions and behind the scenes work at the galleries.
We will meet occasionally at one of the galleries for FREE events but we would like you to decide what activities you want to do as a group, examples are:
Opportunities to meet and talk to artists to find out more about their work
Practical workshops delivered by an artist
Portfolio and careers advice
Meeting like-minded young people interested in visual art
