Heritage Open Days is your once-a-year chance to explore the world on your doorstep, unlocked and completely free of charge!

Included in the programme for Berwick are; Archaeology and Artichokes tour (Lion's House Allotments), Berwick Castle Tour, The Masonic Hall, 'From Ditch to Bastion' Tour (Church Road, Tweedmouth), Gunpowder Magazine, Holy Trinity Church, The Main Guard, Sandstell Fishing Shiel, St Andrew's Church, The Old Gaol, A hint of History at Spittal Point tour, Church of St Bartholomew and St Boisil (Church Road, Tweedmouth) The Tower Tour (Ness Gate), Berwick Baptist Church (Golden Square),  Old Coastguard Station, Palace Green Pavilion, St Andrew's Church (Wallace Green), Tales of Northumberland Art Exhibition (56 Degrees North Studio, Castlegate) and The Trewe description of Her Majesties Towne of Barwick (The Louvre, Bank Hill).

Georgian Berwick and Greenses Arabs and Fish Tales tours (with local Archivist Linda Bankier) require pre-booking at Berwick Tourist Information Centre, tel: 01670 622155.
