Butterfly Day at Paxton House on Sunday 1st June. Part of the Borders Nature Festival.
10.30am Butterfly Walk for Adults- £4 per adult admission to the grounds - Walk aimed at adults led through the woodlands by Iain Cowe to search for butterflies, including speckled wood and orange tip and to see the contents of an overnight moth light trap if conditions permit.
2pm Children’s Butterfly Walk and Activities- £2.50 per child (accompanying adults must hold a valid grounds pass- £4 per year) Search for butterflies in the grounds, join in with fun butterfly themed craft activities and have your face painted. There will be butterfly themed treats in the tea room too for a tasty treat to refuel after all the exploring!
