Annual 1.2 mile run around the Elizabethan Walls as the Curfew bell tolls. With many entrants returning each year to compete for the winning place, this is a fun competition open to all.
Race 1 at 7.30 pm – THE CURFEW RUN FUN RUN : fun for all the family. This is for young children to run with their parents (all children under 8 must run with an adult), junior runners aged 12 years and under, plus adult fun runners. The aim is to beat the time it takes the Curfew Bell to toll (13 minutes). Entry is either online or on the night from 6pm outside the Barracks and costs £2 for children, £5 for adults. There is a race limit of 150 runners.
Race 2 at 8 pm – THE CURFEW RUN : can you beat the Curfew Bell? This is for runners aged 13 years and over on the day. Entry is £5 and online only – there will be no entry on the night for this race. There is a race limit of 150 runners.
