Scripts to Stage Youth Theatre are putting on their first production in Berwick Upon Tweed. The show will be held at Paxton House with talented young performers who are currently busy rehearsing ready to put on a sparkling performance.
'It was a very curious day for Alice. It all started with the White Rabbit, who ran with such a rush Alice thought he must be late! She chased him, to see where it is a rabbit rushes, and as she did he dropped his fan and gloves. Alice called after the rushing rabbit but his ears were far too fast. He whooshed down a rabbit hole and out of sight. Alice decided the only right and proper thing to do was to follow him. Down, down, down she goes, where she’ll end up no one knows. Down, down, down she goes where she’ll end up no one knows – and no one could ever have guessed. With a bump Alice found her self in a wonderfully weird world. A world without reason. A world full of riddles. A world full of marvellous mayhem. Roses could walk and cats could talk. Seconds lasted forever and nowhere always led somewhere. A wicked Queen cried off with her head who painted all my roses red. A Mad Hatter put on the tea and the Dormouse was just so sleepy. It all started so simply and nobody could have imagined the in-between, but in the end was it all just a dream.' - Scripts to Stage
