Berwick Town Hall
Berwick, Spittal and Tweedmouth are three historic communities that straddle the River Tweed. Traditionally a Market Town with links to both Scotland & England, we have a thriving small business community.
These can be found on our trading estates, in specialist shops, and as home-based workers. There is strong tradition of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) developing and growing in Berwick, and this event is aimed at existing businesses, and for those who are considering establishing a new business in the Borders; there will be presentations on access to finance and other business services, as well as skills and training opportunities in the town. There will also be a series of workshops that will allow small business owners the opportunity to discuss what is needed to help their businesses develop – they will cover Finance, Training and Premises.
The feedback from these workshops will be used to inform the developing Neighbourhood Plan and will be used by various local and regional business development agencies to refine their offerings for Berwick.
The event is free to attend. Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are also available, please email us for details.
