For the third 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 we are joined by artist and publisher Giles Bailey, who will perform his work ‘𝗔 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀’. Since 2016, Giles has published 17 issues of the performance art fanzine, TALKER. For each of these, he interviewed an artist about their work.

In ‘𝗔 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀’, a detail from each interview is shared as an action to be carried out by the performer and audience. As the actions accumulate, a constellation of performance knowledge is drawn out, exploring how a publication can become a live and generative space.  In a change to our usual programming, this event will begin at the later time of 5:30 pm, with doors at 5 pm, because the cover of darkness is required!
