Spring Arts’ Expo is The Tin Shed’s first event at Paxton House in Berwickshire, as part of its new Art at Paxton series for 2026.
It takes place in the newly refurbished Ballroom at Paxton House, now designated as an event space and open free to the public. Around 14 of the region’s best artists and artisan makers will pop-up in the space, to show and sell their work. Some will also stage free art and craft demonstrations…so you can pop along anytime and see them at work. Demos include painting with pastels and watercolours, weaving, traditional proggy rug making and sketching.
Spring Arts Expo is a great way to meet the artists and makers, see them at work, find out more about them and their stunning creations, including original art and prints, rag rugs, leatherwork, weaving, jewellery, ceramics, embroidered textile art and glass. Over the next few months Art at Paxton will also stage monthly Tuesday artisan pop-ups and a Summer Art at Paxton two-day weekend event on Sat-Sun, August 29-30.
