One of the legends of British speedway, Scott Nicholls, leads the Gladiators into the Shielfield Park arena for what is always a full-blooded clash between two all-action teams.

The 47-year-old seven-time British Champion and former GP star proves that age is nothing but a number and remains one of the most entertaining and engaging personalities in the sport.

Czech sensation Daniel Klima is another visitor who sets the pulses racing, while Ben Barker is another with entertainment written all over them.

Both teams are looking to break into the top four and qualify for the end of season play-offs.

Get up closer to the action than any other stadium in the UK in either the 1,400-seat grandstand, covered back straight terracing or the picnic area on the third bend, which offers a unique view of the racing.

There are two licensed bars, snack bars and a takeaway restaurant on-site.
