Castle Parks – Wassail

Celebrate the traditional apple wassail at the Community Orchard with music, ritual, and community spirit. Join special guests Rag Bag Morris Dancers to welcome the growing year and toast the orchard.

Castle Parks is a group of historic green spaces in the heart of Berwick-upon-Tweed, including Coronation Park, Castle Vale Park, the Community Orchard and surrounding areas. Managed for the benefit of both people and wildlife, the parks host a wide range of community events, nature activities, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year. Castle Parks provides a welcoming space for recreation, wellbeing, learning, and connection with the natural environment.
