Charming Disaster: The Straw Yard

Charming Disaster is a goth-folk musical duo based in New York, formed in 2012 by Ellia Bisker and Jeff Morris. Inspired by the macabre humour of Edward Gorey and Tim Burton, the murder ballads of the Americana tradition, and the dramatic flair of the cabaret, they write playfully dark songs that tell stories about myth, magic, and science.

Following a chance encounter in a Brooklyn bar in 2016, and a rash invite to “come and do a gig for us!” we finally get to see them live in Berwick!
