Coldstream Guards - 375th Anniversary Celebration in Berwick.
The Coldstream Guards are celebrating their 375th Anniversary this year and invite you to line the streets of Berwick on Tuesday, June 10th, to welcome them home.
March and Events Schedule; Tuesday, June 10th:
- 10:30 am: Arrival at Berwick Railway Station.
- 10:45 am: March from Station to Town Hall via Castlegate and Marygate.
- 11:00 am: Parade at Town Hall (Mayor and VIPs present).
- c.11:15 am: March to Holy Trinity with St Mary Church.
- 12:00 pm: Service of Thanksgiving.
- 1:00 pm: March back to Town Hall.
- 1:15 pm: Civic Reception at Town Hall.
- c.2:30 pm: March to Railway Station via Marygate and Castlegate.
- 3:14 pm: Departure from Berwick Railway Station.
The service will be held at the Cromwellian Parish Church, built with stones taken by the Regiment from the ruins of Berwick Castle.
Following this historic homecoming, the Coldstream Guards will parade before His Majesty The King at Windsor on Friday and participate in the Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on Saturday.
