Saturday Nature Club – Bushcraft, Storytelling and Nature Journaling
Eat Sleep Ride is delighted to host a special outdoor learning session delivered by Instinctively Wild CIC, bringing together bushcraft, storytelling and creative nature practices for young people and families.
Based in the Scottish Borders, Eat Sleep Ride is a community organisation that connects young people with nature, animals and outdoor learning. Our site provides a safe and welcoming environment where young people can build confidence, develop practical skills and experience the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors.
Instinctively Wild CIC specialises in nature-based education and bushcraft experiences that encourage curiosity, resilience and creativity. Their sessions combine practical outdoor knowledge with reflective and creative activities that help young people develop a deeper relationship with the natural world.
During this special Saturday Nature Club session, participants will explore a range of outdoor activities including:
• Learning bushcraft skills such as fire lighting and safe tool use
• Storytelling inspired by the landscape and natural surroundings
• Nature journaling, sketching and creative observation
• Building confidence and teamwork through shared outdoor experiences
The session is designed to be welcoming and relaxed, giving young people space to explore, learn and enjoy time in nature while developing practical skills and creativity.
