First we are joined by Lancashire dialect folk singer Jennifer ReidΒ who has a rebellious dedication to folk culture, bringing archival material into the present and applying historic practices to everyday life.

This project is initiated by longtime Berwicker Kathryn Elkin, and recent incomer Lauren Velvick, with funding fromΒ @createberwick, and support from Jackal, a new cultural space on Hide Hill. We want to invite locals and visitors alike to question, enact and provoke β€˜the archival’ from within our historic walls, at events that will offer a proposition from somewhere else, but will also create space for thinking, talking, conspiring and scheming.
