Summer Art Fair – Art at Paxton

Summer Art Fair at Paxton House is part of our new Art at Paxton events for 2026. The summer event over Bank Holiday weekend also replaces our annual Art in the Castle event at Ayton Castle which was not able to go ahead this year due to the sale of the venue.

It is hoped that Art in the Castle will return in future.  Paxton’s Summer Art Fair takes place in the Ballroom, just off the courtyard, and is free entry. Around 15 artists and artisan makers will pop-up inside the space to showcase and sell their work.

Some will also stage free art and craft demonstrations during the day, so pop in to see them at any time, to catch them at work, grab some tips and inspiration and find out more about them.
