Berwick Beaches

Berwick’s ‘Little Beach’ lies just north of the pier and lighthouse, which you can access via Pier road. This is very popular with photographers, with the striking red and white lighthouse and views in the distance of Holy Island and Bamburgh Castles.

Berwick beach, at Greenses Harbour, lies below the golf course and Berwick Holiday Centre, in a sheltered bay. The sea fishermen of the Greenses and their families once lived nearby in Low Greens, but now the beach is popular with families.

Berwick’s beaches lead onto the Berwickshire Coastal path heading North to St Abbs and Coldingham in Scotland.
