If you are planning a visit to Berwick-Upon-Tweed then we have a range of Visitor Services available.

These include the Visitor Information Centre located in the Library which offers a wide range of services including information on attractions, activities, events, travel, accommodation and places to eat, as well as helping you to plan your visit via telephone and email. The library building is home to other local services including the archives – very handy if you’d like to trace your family history. We also have free Wi-Fi and PCs with printing facilities. Children’s events run during school holidays and are open to all families.

We also have a Visitor Centre, also located in the town centre, the team will advise you on what to do and where to go – whatever the weather.  There are a selection of video and exhibition displays to help you discover Berwick – its turbulent past and intriguing present – at your own pace. The cafe offers a choice of indoor and sunny, sheltered outdoor seating. It serves locally roasted Northern Edge Coffee and a delicious selection of homemade produce. You can browse tourist information leaflets – and shop for books, photos, paintings and local produce such as jams and honey.
