On Sunday 7 May at 3pm, the vibrant and versatile Campus Trio, Live Music Now Scotland (LMNS) artists saxophonists John-Anthony Craig and Richard Scholfield, and pianist Maria Urian, perform a FREE family friendly concert at Paxton House.

Featuring Erin Thomson’s intriguingly titled ‘The Graceful Art of Walking on Stilts’ (LMNS commission) and a lively set of music by Piazzolla and others, the trio are a fresh and innovative take on the traditional piano trio. Bringing the vibrancy and versatility of the saxophone to a traditional chamber music setting, they pair any combination of soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. This allows the trio to create varied and dynamic performances, with a hugely diverse repertoire.
