HODS 23 Bell Tower and Lords Mount Guided Walk

‘Sound the alarm! Summon the guard! Invaders are coming!’ This walk provides an opportunity to see some early defences started by Edward 1 in 1296; a fortified tower, complete with gun positions, a well, a bread oven, latrine and much more.
Join Ray Clarke on this walk to explore Berwick’s lesser-known medieval walls which encompassed a larger area of the town than the Tudor ramparts.
