The Union Chain Bridge Guided Walk

30th and 31st May 2023 | 1:30pm & 3pm (both days) | Union Chain Bridge 

A guided walk at The Union Chain Bridge; learn about the history of the bridge and this unique part of the River Tweed. This talk will be interactive and is suitable for all ages, including children.

We’ll meet next to the Samuel Brown Statue on the English side of the bridge. Parking is available on the road on the approach to the bridge from the English side or make it a day out and visit the Chain Bridge Honey Farm and park there.

The Union Chain Bridge Project is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and is a partnership between Museums Northumberland, Northumberland County Council, Scottish Borders Council & The Friends of The Union Chain Bridge.

Please note the walk will take place on a road, participants are reminded to be vigilant of vehicles at all times. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
