Gunsgreen House

Gunsgreen house was built in 1753 by a local smuggler John Nisbet, and of a John Adam
design the architecture includes secret hiding places were smuggled goods were kept.

Gunsgreen House is full of fun and adventures for children. We are a ‘hands on’
attraction where children are welcome to explore and touch as they go.
Complete the smuggling trail, find those pesky hidden rats and dress up as a
smuggler as you discover clues and secrets on your way around the house.
Children will love exploring the creepy cellars and crawling through the secret
tunnel.

From the parents point of view, there is lots for children to do and look at-
meaning you will have time to read things of interest yourself as they complete

their challenges.
We have free parking and under 5’s go free. For more information visit
