Berwick-upon-Tweed is situated on the east coast mainline and is halfway between Newcastle and Edinburgh. Berwick-upon-Tweed station lies in the former grounds of Berwick-upon-Tweed Castle.  

The station runs regular services southbound to London Kings Cross, and northbound into Scotland, and It is the most northerly station on the English rail network – Berwick-upon-Tweed itself is only a few miles south of the country’s most northerly point. In fact, so close is Berwick-upon-Tweed to the England-Scotland border that it repeatedly changed hands between the two countries for hundreds of years, before being decisively claimed by England in 1482. 

Berwick-Upon-Tweed is a large station situated in the town Centre, with great transport links. Including taxi’s available on a rank.
